Requirements
What the PC needs.
Gryndara is a Windows app. The language model runs on that machine. A typical office laptop can run Eco and Quick Chat. Full swarm is for PCs with a dedicated graphics card.
Base
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit).
- 8 GB of RAM minimum. 16 GB is more comfortable for Lite and Standard.
- About 10 GB free for the app and the first model (Eco is ~1.4 GB; Coder is ~19 GB). Plus the official Ollama engine if it is not already installed (~1.5 GB).
- A browser on the same PC. The portal only listens on
127.0.0.1.

Setup measures the machine. No dedicated GPU → Eco. A dedicated GPU → Lite first; you can download Standard, Pro, or Coder from Setup. Full swarm is disabled on processor-only PCs — Quick Chat still works.
What is not required
- A gryndara.com account to download or start the 14-day trial.
- An account with OpenAI, Microsoft, Google AI, or any other model vendor.
- Administrator rights to install Gryndara (per-user Setup).
